How to turn a toy into a coloring page
Use Ask2Color’s camera to scan a favorite toy, stuffed animal, action figure, car, doll, or other object. The app converts what the camera sees into an outline your child can color directly in the app.
Choose an object with a clear shape
Start with one toy or object rather than a crowded group. A simple background and good light make it easier to frame the subject clearly. Place the object upright when possible so the camera can see its recognizable shape.
Scan the toy with Ask2Color
Open the camera option in Ask2Color and place the toy inside the frame. Hold the device steady, keep the full object visible, and take the photo. Ask2Color then converts the image into a coloring-page-style outline.
Color the new page in the app
Open the generated page and let your child choose the colors. Ask2Color includes coloring tools, undo, and zoom support, so children can work on large areas or smaller details at their own pace.
Save, share, or print the result
Keep the finished artwork with the child’s other drawings, share it with family, or print it directly from the app when the iPhone or iPad has a compatible printer setup. A favorite real-world object can become both a digital activity and a printable page.
Try the same toy in different ways
After scanning the real object, invite your child to invent a new scene with it: a plush bear in space, a toy car under the sea, or a dinosaur figure at a birthday party. They can use Ask2Color’s text or voice creation flow for those imaginative variations.
